Club nights

Mondays

The Black Tooth Rock Lounge

Welcome to the Black Tooth. A dive bar in spirit, but not in appearance. We are the finest purveyors of cocktails, live music, drunk djs and cabaret acts that you are likely to find this side of Hadrians wall. Combining the rum-fuelled piracy of the Moorings, the sheer decadent filth of Fudge promotions and Jagermeister’s undying commitment to making you act like a drunken twat, The Black Tooth has established itself as a night dedicated to everything that makes rock n’ roll the scurge of good family values.

As well as dancefloor gems from the Fudge DJs, expect touring bands, local barnyard rockstars, groupies, dark cabaret and burlesque.

Entry is usually £3/£2, but free passes can be found at our like-minded sponsors, the Moorings Bar on Trinity Quay and Retro Rebels on George Street.

Doors open at 9pm on band nights and 11pm on DJ nights; when we become charming hosts and see to your every whim. At 2am, you have outstayed your welcome…until next Monday that is.

For full listings of bands and upcoming acts, check our full listings page, or click onto myspace.com/blacktoothrock

MIXTAPE

“You’d think it would be impossible to keep a weekly clubnight stocked with stellar guests, but Mixtape have a knack for it” DJ Mag

Mixtape has acquired quite a name for itself these days, as one of the most twisted and dirtiest of club nights in the country. Every Friday at Snafu, Mixtape pays homage to the ghetto sounds from around the globe. Baltimore, Chicago, Rio de Janeiro, Paris and Miami are all cut, scratched and blended at the hands of Mixtape resident, Giles Walker. The out of the box booking policy has seen guests as diverse as Crookers, Japanese Popstars, Erol Alkan and Alex Metric, to name but a very few. Add to this the up-for-it Mixtape crowd, it’s no wonder Mixtape is being hailed as the best club night around.

Every 1st and 3rd week Funky Transport is joined by Mr Green.
