Hot City celebrate the present of disco this Christmas, one which we’re all thankful for I’m are sure you’ll agree.

Snafu favourite Erol Alkan has agreed to bring his Disco 3000 crate up, having had music blogs in raptures when he began the venture back in 2008. A “tribute to the days of tape edits and letting a single track play for ages”, expect lengthy cuts of spaced out disco, bubbling synthesis and balearic gems.

Alongside Mr Alkan is long time partner in crime, Durrr/Bugged Out resident selector - Rory Philips. When Rory played Snafu for our Wizard Festival After Party, we fell in love with him too. Hot City’s own first lady of Italo - MWX - kicks things off.

Every time they come to Aberdeen we think that it will never live up to the last time they partied with us, and every time is gets even better. This time they are bringing the beautiful and talented Camea, head of Clink Recordings, producer for Bpitch Control, Minus, Soma and Get Physical. In 2011 she became the first female producer to ever put music on Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 label and this will be her Scottish debut. Keep an eye open for other goings on over the course of Bigfoot’s 24 hour stay in Aberdeen…ken?
